From Distant Lands

Laudate Singers will take you on an a cappella journey of songs from around the globe. We’ll start in Canada with the talented Indigenous composer Andrew Balfour’s “Vision Chant”, then to Latin America with songs from Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, to the Philipines, Japan and China, South Africa, Europe, Scandinavia and back to Canada with a brand new commission by our Brazilian Canadian composer-in-residence, André Luiz Machado.
